Over the past several years, we have had the privilege and pleasure of observing the ministry and music of Mary James and more importantly, getting to know her heart. She has been a guest speaker and artist for Women of Purpose several times and we keep bringing her back because our women love her! Not only is she talented and gifted with an incredible voice, her testimony powerfully illustrates God's grace.
Her talent was recognized on a national scale in October 2010 when she went to Nashville's Inspirational Country Music Awards and brought home the coveted title of Female Vocalist of the Year! Her two CDs, Truth Cries Out and Beautiful Savior both feature award-winning original songs, written by Mary. In order to keep her music ministry going, however, Mary must release new music every couple of years. The expense is great, yet the music pierces hearts and draws people to Christ. For that reason, Women of Purpose is coming alongside her to executive produce two CDs and we need YOUR help.

A Personal Note from Mary
Dear Friends and Family,
In 1999, the Lord turned my life around and set me on a path unlike any I have ever known. Over the last 12 years, brick by brick, God has taken my testimony and specific musical abilities and used it for music evangelism in our country and abroad. In order for me to continue bringing “a new song” to audiences, I must regularly release newly recorded music.
The costs of recording endeavors are great and at this point in time, my husband and I are unable to fund a project or projects on our own. We have prayed that the Lord would make a way for the music to continue. As a result, Danna Demetre, President and founder of Women of Purpose, a San Diego nonprofit ministry, approached me regarding the Executive Production of one—if not two—new CDs. In faith, I agreed, realizing that this undertaking would in every way glorify God and His ability to make all things possible.
